Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Oscar-winning animated feature movie hires three directors for the movie sequel releasing in theaters on October 7, 2022.
The report by Variety published on April 19 that the movie will direct by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thomson for the sequel. Phil Lord and Miller are joining David Callaham as screenwriters who already write for Oscar-winning first part. And Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg returning for the project, with Alonzo Ruvalcaba co-producing.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018's director Peter Ramsey will executive produce along with Aditya Sood. As the film feature Miles Morales an African-Latino boy whose journey end with becoming a Spider-Man.
The directing team of the sequel said with variety in a joint statement that:
“The crew behind the ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ set such a ridiculously high bar, and we’re humbled to take on the challenge of charting the next chapter in the story of Miles Morales.”
Kemp Golden Globe Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated screenwriter, as well as playwright, producer, and director
presently nominated for the best-adapted screenplay Oscar Award for the drama “One Night in Miami,” adapted from his play, titled same. And also Oscar nomination for his co-directed Pixar film Soul for Best Animated Feature nominee.
K. Thompson’s as the production designer for the first part of the movie won an Annie Award and worked for Sony Animation’s Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs part two.
Dos Santos’ already famously known for The Legend of Korra from Nickelodeon’s, Avatar: The Last Airbender DreamWorks Animation’s, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Justice League Unlimited, and Teen Titans from Warner Bros.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 is set to hit theaters on October 7, 2022, as the first part of Box-Office about $400 worldwide.
