Sony's Spider-Man: No Way Home always in a spot with the cast, And now The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield shifts within 24 hours after denying that he will not return in Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3.
Yesterday, an actor during an interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, denied his involvement in the threequel.
Now in the recent interview with Access Hollywood (via Twitter), Andrew Garfield, once again asked about a possible return in Marvel Studios and Sony's Spider-Man: No Way Home but now actor tries to avoid but ended with “never say never.”

“I, of course, you know, I’ve heard all the rumors of everything and to be frank, I think it’s a really cool idea. But like, as a fan , just as a pure fan, to have like… Yeah, it’s a really cool idea. But, yeah, as I’ve said previously, it’s not something that I, you know, I don’t - God, I hate being given the responsibility of disappointing people. But, yeah, no. It’s not something that I’ve been asked about or anything like that, but, you know, never say never.”
When Marvel trying to expand more Multiverse content and Sony wants to build their Spider-Verse movies then it's too hard without Andrew and Tobey. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's joining rumors arise months ago when the movie director searching for all possible multiverse cast. Jamie Foxx's return as Electro, Alfred Molina who confirmed that he will be De-Aged in the movie, and more casting and news confirmation for the movie point live-action Spider-Verse.
So, about every actor sign NDA (Non-disclosure-Agreement) till the movie finish the production to not disclose movie details and Marvel already strict about their movies. Previously, more actors denied their appearance but in the end, we see their role.
But still, this is just a rumor until we get any official confirmation from Marvel.Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home will release in theaters on December 17, 2021.
