Also, fans spotted multiples editing mistakes in the trailer. That's other if that was Sony Pictures' intention to tease Spider-Verse. Where the company edited out Andrew Garfield but left his hand and an invisible object hits Lizard.
Earlier, it was rumored that one of the major characters would die in Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. And it looks moreover true after watching the main trailer of the film. Everything goes smoothly in it, but at a point when Peter Parker facing villains to save the world (probably that will be the final fight of the film), in that fight, MJ falls from the building's scaffolding, which is reminiscent's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie scene where Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) died after she fell from the clock tower and Andrew's Spider-Man was unsuccessful, to save her.
Although, Tom Holland's Peter Parker impetuously runs towards her to hold her. And when Peter's hand is reaching MJ's hand, the trailer leaves fans questionable. Many fan theories, coming as that was Andrew Garfield's hand which is edited to Tom Holland Spider-Man hand, and he would save her, to redeem his mistake and so on. But one question is that,
Did she survive death?
For this question's answer, let break down a scene from the second trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home. At timestamp 2:12, Peter and MJ, lovely kissing each other, the background looking morning time, and MJ, wearing the same cloth as she wore in the falling scene. Also, Peter Parker is wearing an Integrated suit which we saw him facing villains at the Statute of Liberty at night. Their faces are injured after the battle. Coming to the point that this will take place after the final fight of the movie. So, MJ was somehow rescued before she was about to hit the ground.
The official answer we will find after watching the movie. It's already confirmed that the movie gonna follow a dark, emotional, and sad storyline among other previous films. Until, what's your opinion on this scene?
