Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets a new record for the trilogy with Its epic runtime, revealed by Official Listing on ticket seller Atom Tickets.

As per listing, the movie’s runtime is 2 hours and 29 minutes, making it the longest and most epic film in the trilogy.

James Gunn has said that the runtime is not exact yet, but he promises that that every minute of the film is vital to finish the arc for every main character.

James Gunn has also defended his film’s length and showed excitement for it, saying that he doesn’t feel like he is apologizing for it. The film will explore Rocket’s origin story & his connection to The High Evolutionary.

The film will also introduce new characters such as Adam Warlock, a genetically engineered being created by the Sovereign, and The High Evolutionary, a geneticist who experimented on Rocket.
